Starting therapy is a big step, and it’s normal to have questions before you begin. Below, you’ll find answers to the most common questions about working with Safe Haven Therapy from insurance and rates to our approach and specialties.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! Safe Haven Therapy currently accepts the following insurance plans:

  • Beacon Health
     

  • Anthem Blue Cross
     

  • Blue Shield
     

  • Magellan
     

  • Cigna-Evernorth

  • Aetna
     

If your plan isn’t listed, we can provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement. It’s always a good idea to contact your insurance provider to confirm your mental health benefits before scheduling your first session.

What are your self-pay rates?

For clients who prefer to pay privately:

  • Individual Therapy: $165 per session
     

  • Couples Therapy: $200 per session
     

Private pay allows for added flexibility and privacy, giving us the freedom to tailor your therapy experience to your needs and goals.

Do you offer in-person or telehealth sessions?

Yes! Safe Haven Therapy offers:

  • In-person sessions for clients in West Covina, CA and surrounding areas
     

  • Telehealth sessions for clients located throughout California
     

Both options provide compassionate, trauma-informed care in a safe and supportive environment, whether in-office or from the comfort of your home.
